‘Dear Students’ teaser OUT: Nayanthara plays cop opposite Nivin Pauly

Fans of Malayalam star Nivin Pauly have another reason to celebrate! On his birthday, the makers of his upcoming film ‘Sarvam Maya’ surprised everyone by releasing the official teaser of the horror comedy directed by Akhil Sathyan.
Nivin himself shared the teaser link on his social media pages, writing, “Fun, chaos and pure happiness; ‘Sarvam Maya’ coming your way soon! Get ready to go Delulu in theatres this Christmas.”

The teaser gives a glimpse into the spooky yet playful world of ‘Sarvam Maya’. It opens with Nivin exploring an old traditional house on a dark, stormy night. As thunder rumbles outside, he carefully checks every corner under the bed, behind the doors, and inside the cupboards, making sure he’s alone.

With each search, he nervously mutters, “Okay,” trying to convince himself that everything is fine. The clip then shifts to lighter moments, showing Nivin and Aju Varghese sharing laughter in the daylight.
Directed by Akhil Sathyan, ‘Sarvam Maya’ is one of the most anticipated Malayalam releases of the year. The film is going to hit theatres during Christmas 2025, a festive gift for movie lovers. Earlier, Nivin had already teased the film’s release date, calling it “The Ghost Next Door.”
The movie also stars Priety Mukundhan, who recently gained attention for her performance in the pan-Indian film ‘Kannappa’. She plays the female lead opposite Nivin. Aju Varghese joins the cast in an important supporting role.
According to reports, filming took place in scenic parts of Kerala, mainly in Ernakulam and Palakkad, with the crew completing over a month of shooting.
Behind the scenes, the film boasts a strong technical team. Music is composed by Justin Prabhakaran, known for his soulful melodies, while Rajeevan handles art direction. Cinematography is by Sharan Velayudhan Nair, who previously worked on ‘Sookshmadarshini’.
